 Major League Baseball season 2020
The 2020 Major League Baseball season was scheduled to start on March 26. However, the COVID-19 pandemic in North America prompted Major League Baseball (MLB) to announce on March 12 that the other spring training matches had been cancelled and that the start of the regular season would be delayed at least two weeks. Four days later, the MLB announced that the season would be postponed indefinitely, following CDC recommendations to limit events to more than 50 people for an eight-week period. This is the first time MLB games have been suspended since the 2001 season, when the season was interrupted for more than a week after the September 11 attacks.
Prior to the March 12 announcement, the regular season was scheduled to end on September 27 and the playoffs were scheduled to begin on September 29. The World Series was scheduled to start on October 20, with a possible game 7 scheduled for October 28. The 91st Major League Baseball All-Star Game is scheduled for July 14 at Dodger Stadium. The full schedule was released on August 12, 2019. The MLB has considered a number of scenarios for how to play the season and has promised to host as many baseball games in 2020 as possible.

 Nippon Professional Baseball season 2020 The 2020 Nippon Professional Baseball season is the 71st season since Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) was reorganized in 1950. There are 12 NPB teams, split equally between the Central League and the Pacific League.
The 2020 season was originally scheduled to start on March 20, with a break from July 21 to August 13, for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. On February 26, 2020, the league announced that its spring training matches The rest would be done without the presence of fans, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Japan. With the lifting of states of emergency over major Japanese cities, NPB announced that it would start its regular season on June 19 behind closed doors. The "warm up" games started on May 26.

KBO League season 2020
The 2020 KBO League season, also known as sponsorship rights as the 2020 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League, is the 39th season in KBO League history.
The KBO League 2020 season schedule was released in December 2019. The Opening day was originally scheduled for March 28, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in South Korea, the Korean Baseball Organization has announced in March 2020 the ten exhibition games would be cancelled, and the start of the season would be delayed until April.
The Kia Tigers, a KBO league team that came to the United States on January 30, 2020 to do some of its spring training, stayed in Fort Myers, Florida, until March. The KBO League preseason games started on April 21. The regular season started on May 5.
